The Black Country Living Museum

The Black Country Living Museum in Dudley is an open air museum that tells the industrial history of  working classes in the Midlands.

There are entire streets created from reconstructed shops and houses, that allow visitors to literally take a step back in time and experience history in an immersive way, with characters in costime adding to the authenticity.

The Workers Meeting House building has a wonderful  display on Trade Unionist, Mary Macarthur, and there are many more Women's History stories to be discovered  in the exhibitions and special events held daily at the museum.

Noël Coward: Art & Style celebrates the dazzling visual side of Coward’s life and work by taking a fresh and vibrant look at the glittering world that Coward created. Bringing together never-before-seen materials from the Coward Archive, the exhibition demonstrates vividly the enormous impact that he and his creative circle had on the fashion and culture of his time, and how his legacy and influence still resonate today.
